Who is NBA MVP?nba statistics
Chris Paul...
Who is NBA MVP?nba store ,nba teams
KOBE, no question about it
I am increasingly leaning towards Paul over James or Kobe.
Chris Paul is having an incredible year, and is overlooked a lot of times in the MVP race hype. A lot of people promote Lebron or Kobe saying that their respective teams would miss the playoffs without them. The exact thing would occur if the Hornets did not have Paul. He is the engine that makes them run.
Beyond the 21 points and 11 assist per game averages, Chris Paul makes it happen on both ends of the floor. He is an extremely persistent defender, and leads the NBA with 2.7 steals per game. Despite the fact he is a point guard, he still will help on the board, averaging four per game.
But the biggest difference he makes at a very young age is his leadership. The Hornets are currently 40 and 19 and challenging for the best record in the NBA Western Conference. He has pushed this team beyond any expectations their fans had for them before the season started, much more so than what LeBron or Kobe have done for the Cavs and the Lakers.
I do like Lebron and Kobe, but if you take away their stardom and push down to the core of the debate, I feel Chris Paul has earned the MVP so far this season. Of course, there are six weeks to go, so we shall see. The final six weeks are critical to finalizing this debate. Let the games decide!
But to date, I feel Chris Paul has been more valuable, and the Most Valuable Player in the NBA.
Good question. Thanks!!
Lebron, kobe, garnett, paul are considered MVP.
1st Lebron.
30ppg, 8rpg, 7apg. no doubt leading the cavaliers to a title contender.
MVP in his game but on the team, no.
2nd, kobe.
28ppg, 6rpg, 5apg. Lakers MVP. makes the bench players more powerful. Doesn't care if he score low points. but his priority isto win games, more games.
3rd. Garnett.
19ppg, 10rpg, 4apg.
boston's MVP. he is a player that motivates his teammates to be better. whether he averages low in points and rebounds, but still a great player to win the MVP award.
4th. CP3
20ppg, 4rpg, 11,apg
he's playing good now better than last year. Makes his team a title contender. Good player, unselfish, too good to be the MVP.
Kobe without a doubt. He has never won one but this is his year. Kobe is second in scoring, playing great defense, is pulling down boards and passing assist. I know Lebron has been making a run for it. For him to have a chance his team needs to get the 3rd seed a and get to the conference finals for sure, it wouldn't hurt him either if got some more triple doubles. I say kobe though because who thought this team would have the 2 best record in the NBA. He is the best player on the best team. MVP goes to kobe. GOOOOOOO KOBE!!!!!!!
i would say kobe pretty easily. just look at how he took over the last 2 games
KEVIN GARNETT
LEBRON OR KOBE. I DONT CARE WHICH ONE BUT IT IS ONR OF THESE PLAYERS FOR SURE.
I consider the MVP award to go to the most valuable player to their team, not to the best player in the league.
Considering this, I would have say either Lebron or Chris Paul has to win this award.
The Cavs are 0-7 without Lebron, he means everything to the team. He controls the court and everyone else around him (on his team and the other team). Any guy who has that much control over how his team does deserves this award. When your team has a winning record because of one single guy, it is really saying something about that player. Lebron is obviously one of the best scorers in the game, but not only this, he also distributes the ball better than anyone at the forward position. He makes everyone else better around him. Lebron also leads the league in the fourth quarter scoring and has helped the Cavs become the team who has orchestrated the most 4th quarter comebacks in the league this year. Lebron is a clutch player, and MVP's need to be there when their team needs them most.
New Orleans has been one of the best teams in the West, and this is coming almost out of nowhere. Did anyone really think the Hornets would be a top 4 team in the brutal West at years end? They are this way because Chris Paul stepped up his game to another level, a level not seen from a point guard since Isiah.
Chris Paul controls the whole court at all times, and knows where everyone is. Without him on the floor, they aren't half as productive as they are with him on the court. He will give you 20 and 10 almost every night, and this lets players like David West, who not many had heard of before the all-star game, have a career year.
Any player that makes their team better as a whole, and would be lost without this player deserves the MVP honor.
im going with kobe
lebrons team isnt good enough
paul's team isnt as good as kobes
and garnett as the MVP in boston is coming into question
and i dont agree with people saying that CP3 has nobody
HE HAS AN ALLSTAR IN DAVID WEST
AND AMAZING 3PT SHOOTER IN PEJA
AND A DPOY CANDIDATE IN CHANDLER
so yeah
im going with "CAPTAIN CLUTCH"
Baron Davis - Go Warriors
this is a simple question.. Kobe Bryant, he has changed his game to another bar.. Leading his team to a really good chance for his 4th ring. I say, stop the season now and give KB the award..
KOBE MVP!!
our votes don't really count so why poll us everyday make that once an hour especially when everyone knows its kobe
I would have to go with Lebron. The rest of his team is so pitifully poor he has to carry them every game. Paul is probably second, Kobe and Garnett can miss games and their team will still have a great chance.
Kevin Garnett. He has clearly improved since he was on the Wolves. But Kobe Lebron and Chris have also improved.
Simple Kobe Bryant!
I would have to go with LeBron Or should i say King James yea That's right KING JAMES he is the best right now
this is like his 4th year in the NBA and he already broken the youngest player to reach 10,000 points
Now that right there is amazing I betcha Kobe didn't reach in that many years
NOW don't get me started on the rest of his records
Kobe Bryant is by far the NBA's MVP. I'm not putting down Lebron, Garnett, or Paul, I'm just saying that look how far Kobe has came with the lakers. Every since Shaq left the lakers, they have struggled. But now, the lakers are tied for the best record in the west (with the Spurs). Kobe is 2nd in scoring and somehow isn't a ball hog anymore..! Kobe is sharing the ball! Its time for Kobe to finally be looked at as the best player in the NBA...
Bron- amazing athlete, great scorer, rebounder, scorer and one of those guys who does everything. If MVP depends only of stats, than he is the MVP guy for last three season by my opinion. Right now, his team has too many lost games for an MVP type player. MVP does not depend only of stats. Many say that Bron never had good teammates, and this last trade did not help them at all. When he gets into a better team, or learn how to play better with his own team, he will be an MVP. This year, no chance for him.
KG. Nope, been hurt too much. He did not bring that much for MVP to his team because of injuries. This was his chance, a great rebouder and scorer getting in a great team with very big chance for MVP this year, but he blew it. Not on purpose, though.
Paul. When you look at his style of play and his age, you will see that he is a born leader. I think that there will be some NBA history records in shape of assists, steals... Now, with almost 11 apg and with his team good record he has a chance, but there is one guy who gives more to his team at the moment.
It is Kobe. He made so much for his team this season, and they depend of him 99%. He made his play look like more a team play than individual one. His play is a totally new level in compare with the last year games. His team has a great records, they are first in rankings so far, and his stats are great, 28ppg about 5 apg and 5rpg he is an MVP this year. At the begining of the season he did not seem like one, but now, he is for surely.
