Who is the NBA MVP so far?

As usual, Steve Nash leads the league (11.9), Chris Paul is 2nd (10.5) in assist/game. Chris Paul has the much better Assist/TO ratios at 4.04 versus Nash's 3.27. He also averages 20.6 points/game to the multi-MVP's 17.6 points/game. Steals is another category Paul excels at, leading the league with 2.6/game, Nash is not in the top 100. Adding to the fact that New Orleans has the best record in the west, 31 - 12 at this point including 2 - 0 against the Suns, I think there is no doubt Chris Paul is the MVP to this point, and the best PG in the league. No one is putting up numbers like CP!

Who's 2nd?

LeBron James leagues the NBA in assist for non point-guards with 7.3/game he's is one of only 2 non-guards in the league that are top 25 in assists, Paul Pierce is the other, 25th with 5.0/game. There is one other non point-guard in the top 25, Dwayne Wade is 12th with 6.7/game. He also leads the league in points/game at 29.9 and averages 7.2 boards/game

kg - 3rd

kobe - 4th

Who is the NBA MVP so far?nba draft order

the guy who sed KG has a supportive cast IS actually right...tho he's the one who made it happen...Kobe was always so-so in MVP voting, because of whatever issues he's causing / dealing with...Chris Paul, without a doubt tho, even tho im not a big Hornets fan...he's gotta be the only unquestioned MVP candidate, maybe Brandon Roy on a smaller level...

Who is the NBA MVP so far?nba draft history ,nba teams

Kevin Garnett
KB 24 Kobe Bryant all the way........
Lebron James u idiots who said Kobe!!
Just because a guy has a high assist to turnover ratio does not mean he is more valuable to his team then a guy who blocks shots and rebounds. Give me Garnett or Lebron over Chris Paul anyday. Don't forget about Boom Dizzle.
Kobe is definitely MVP this year
Lebron James he is playing great basketball. he's improving the 3 category points, rebounds, and assist.
Kobe Bryant

Kevin Garnett

Chris Paul

One of those three. Its a tight race.
Kobe bryant I mean the West are Harder than the East and Lakers are doing good.. Beside all the best players in the NBA admit that Kobe is the best in the league
LeBron James is the NBA MVP no question.......not only does he lead the league in scoring he is in the top 5 in points scored (EVEN THOUGH HE MISSED 5 1/2 GAMES!!!) also he is in the top ten in the NBA in assists and in the top twenty, i believe, in rebounding......if that isn't enough he leads the nba in 4th quarter scoring after people said that he couldnt finish games....he also is playin his best defense with 2 steals a game a about 1 block a game as well......he also is a league leader in opposing position player's ppg,,,,not te mention that he took a underachieving collapsing team 4rm completely falling out of the playoff race 2 making them contenders for the best record in the East....thats an MVP right there LeBron James
Lebron James
Even though I'm a Kobe fan I would have to CP3 because hes putting up great numbers and his team has the best record in the West.
i would say it would be Jose Calderon because hes carrying the Toronto raptors, hes shooting percentage is crazy (90 from free Through line, 40 from 3point, and 50 from field goal) 5th in league in assist and leads the league in assist to turnover in the league
BARON DAVIS!
LBJ, he is carrying a mediocre team on his back. Kobe is doing well this year to, but lebron is off the hizzy
Kobe...
Kobe is by far number 1

the lebron

then chris paul

then kevin karnett yeah!
I would have to say the MVP as of right now goes to Chris Paul. KG has a suppotive cast. Kobe has a hit and miss cast (Bynum's injury leads to losses). Lebron is having a great year... but they made it to the finals with the same players last year (got SWEPT). D. Wade - look at his teams record and standing, your team is only as good as your weakest player and it shows.

Chris Paul has made everyone around him better this year. If you take Paul out of their line up they would run around like chickens with they're heads cut off. Chris Paul is the man... oh and may I add, N.O. is the best team in the west. Over S. Antonio, over the Suns (deep talented team), over the Lakers, and better then Dallas. Right now I would hand it over to Chris Paul because he's lead his team to the top spot. At the begining of the season NO ONE was talking about N.O. as contenders (Best Team in the West).
Kobe by far is the mvp this year and he deserves it after all the drama he's been through!
STEVE NASH
